Public Health receives reaccreditation

The Forsyth County Department of Public Health received reaccreditation for 2024-2028 from The Public Health Accreditation Board on May 17.

Accreditation assures that local health departments have the capacity and service to ensure the health of their communities. North Carolina became the first state in the nation to mandate accreditation for local health departments in 2006.
