Community Emergency Response Team Training

The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Emergency Management is offering the Community Emergency Response Team 21-hour Basic Training Course. Disasters can severely restrict and overwhelm emergency response resources and leave communities cut off from outside emergency support. CERTs are trained to take care of themselves and help others in their communities for the first three days following a disaster. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to join a local community team. However, you’re not required to join a team in order to register for the course.

All participants will need access to a computer to download the student manual. Sign up TODAY & join a nationwide team of response volunteers: https://terms.ncem.org
