Commissioners to hold Bimonthly Morning Discussion Session
The county commissioners will hold a Bimonthly Morning Discussion Session on July 14 at 10 a.m. in which they’ll hear presentations on various projects and services.
The session will include presentations on:
- Winston-Salem Forsyth County School update
- Forsyth Technical Community College update
- American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Round 2
- Child Fatality Prevention Team/Community Child Protection Team Annual Report
- NCDOT beltway update
The commissioners will recess for lunch and will return at 2 p.m. to consider items on the
agenda for their regular meeting, which will include a report on taxes collected in the FY22 fiscal year, followed by a briefing for the August 4 meeting.
Future Bimonthly Discussion Sessions will take place at 10 a.m. Sept. 15 and Nov. 17. The sessions are part of the commissioners’ regularly scheduled briefings. Morning sessions will contain discussion items and no formal action or voting will be taken during these morning sessions.
