Forsyth 4-H Wins Junior AND Senior Wildlife Competition

The Forsyth County 4-H Wildlife Habitat Evaluation Program teams won both the Senior and Junior divisions at the state competition held at Jordan Lake Educational State Forest in Chatham County on April 23, 2022. Luke A. was 1st place senior individual. Sarah P. was overall high scorer and 1st jr individual. James T. won 2nd place individual. Other team members included Ben C., Cana H., Nathan P., Rachel P., Mary T., Sofia C., and Evelyn C. The teams were coached by Carla Arrowood, Angie Cook, and Melinda Barrick.

Thank you to Forsyth County Farm Bureau for supporting the team and to numerous park rangers, Forest Rangers, etc. for their help with coaching the teams as well! It is great to see the community come together! 4-H runs on the power of volunteers!
