Forsyth County Government conducted a survey last year to gather feedback from residents, which can now be viewed on the County Budget Department’s webpage.
The survey found most residents have a positive perception of the county as a place to work and live as well as overall satisfaction with County services including libraries, Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Services, Public Health and other departments. The report on the survey’s results denoted that the County’s parks and the Tanglewood Park Aquatics Center set the standard regionally and nationally in recreational opportunities. Top categories for improvement according to respondents were the quality of K-12 education buildings, disaster preparedness, communication with the public, and enforcement of codes and ordinances.
ETC Institute administered the survey by mail and online to a random sample of county residents, and received 1,404 completed surveys. ETC presented the results to the Forsyth County Commissioner during their Winter Work Session on Feb. 24.
