Captain Fred P. Shutt Retires

Captain Fred P. Shutt began his Law Enforcement career in 1994. Captain Shutt earned several promotions throughout his career becoming a Captain in 2019.

During his career, Captain Shutt received a 25 Years’ Service Commendation Bar and 27 letters of commendation.

Captain Shutt earned a Bachelor's Degree from Lee’s-McRae College in 2015. He received a few certifications throughout his career.

Throughout the course of his career, Captain Shutt served in various capacities within the Narcotics Unit, Investigative Services Division, Field Services Division, and the Judicial Services Division. At the time of his retirement, he was a Captain in Patrol.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Captain Shutt all the best in his future endeavors.
