Forsyth County has a new website showcasing its videos, ConnectWith.ForsythCountyNC.gov, and a new show highlighting its programs and services, Forsyth County Connections, hosted by Jim Longworth of Triad Today.
It’s part of the county commissioners' efforts to inform the public about county services and recognize the hard work of its many employees. Forsyth County Connections has new episodes every two weeks, in which Longworth talks with a variety of county employees about what their departments are doing. The first two episodes have covered topics like EMS staffing challenges, Rental Assistance, COVID vaccinations, Cooperative Extension services, courthouse construction and more. The next episode will be available starting on Dec. 13.
County Connections is available on ConnectWith.ForsythCountyNC.gov and on YouTube on the “Forsyth County Government, North Carolina” Channel. It also airs on WS/FC Schools’ Channel 2 on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and on Saturdays and Sundays at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. It will also be aired on WXLV 45 at 11 a.m. every other Saturday, starting Dec. 12.
