Every year N.C. Cooperative Extension offers Chef and Child. This year, we will be able to offer the opportunity through a virtual format. This program will be a combination of Chef and Child and Teen Cuisine. We will discuss proper kitchen safety, nutrition, food handling, measurements, and offer a live cook along. This is an opportunity that you don’t want to miss!
This workshop is for youth ages 11-13. This virtual workshop is opened to youth 4-H members of Forsyth and Davidson County. If youth are not a 4-H member you may complete an application at https://4honline.com. We do ask for parents to assist youth while they are working in the kitchen to give guidance. The virtual cooking camp will be held from August 4-6 from 10-noon daily. Registration must be completed at www.go.ncsu.edu/4-hvirtualcookingcamp. Once registered, the email address associated with the registration will be emailed further instructions to access the class information.
