Lieutenant Stanley L. Barr retires

Lieutenant Stanley L. Barr began his Law Enforcement career in 1993 as a Detention Officer. Lt. Barr earned several promotions throughout his career with his most recent promotion to the rank of Lieutenant in January 2019.

During his career, Lt. Barr earned both the Intermediate & Advanced Law Enforcement Certificates.

Lieutenant Barr served in the US Navy from 1984 to 1988 where he received an honorable discharge.

Throughout the course of his career, Lt. Barr served in various capacities within the Law Enforcement Detention Center, Investigative Services Division, Judicial Services Division and the Field Services Division. At the time of his retirement, he was the Lieutenant in Investigative Service Division/School Resource.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office wishes Lieutenant Barr all the best in his future endeavors.
