Poultry Science Summer Institute (PSSI) applications are now being accepted. The 5-day, 4-night Poultry Science Summer Institute exposes high school freshman, sophomores, and juniors to aspects of poultry science most have never considered. 2018 PSSI is now being held from June 24-28. Upon acceptance, registration is only $50.00. From feed production and meat processing to embryology and DNA fingerprinting, students with an interest in animal or poultry sciences do not want to miss out on this opportunity to learn about where a degree in poultry science can take them. NCSU is also hosting Livestock Science Camp June 17-22 for youth ages 14-17 with or without a livestock background who wants to learn more about the livestock industry. Applications are due March 9th and camp is limited to 36 participants. The cost is $750. This includes 5 nights lodging, meals, field trips, and workshop materials.
