In our Banned Books Week Film Fest each of these films are based on books that have been challenged and ultimately banned in communities across the U.S.For this year’s celebration, the coalition of organizations that sponsors Banned Books Week have decided to emphasize the importance of the First Amendment, which guarantees our inherent right to read (and in our case watch).
