The wait is over, Teen Central will be re-opening August 31st at 11 am.
That’s right you read that correctly, we have new hours to go with a brand new space. Teen Central will operate on the same hours as the main Central Library branch.
So let’s talk about this brand new space, we are no longer located in the basement - we’ve moved on up to the second floor. We have more space to dedicate to all things Teen related:
That’s not all that’s new, we are planning for new programs and clubs for you. For our teen girls in grades 6th - 12th, we will be hosting a Girls who Code club, join us September 11 @ 4pm or September 18 @ 4pm for more details and to sign up. Calling all Nerds, Geeks, & Gamers join us the first Tuesday of every month for a chance to discuss all things fandom and more (snacks provided of course). Speaking of gamers, our Gaming Clubs every Wednesday starting at 4pm will have the privilege of trying out new games and chances to win cool prizes.
Looking for a place to volunteer? Join our Teen Advisory Board. It’s a chance to lend your voice and tell us what you would like to see in the library. Plus earn great volunteer experience. We meet every fourth Thursday of the month at 4pm.
The new Teen Central is space made just for you and we can’t wait to see you there!
