2012 Annual Monitoring Network Plan

In 2006 EPA amended the ambient air monitoring regulations. As part of this amendment, EPA is requiring monitoring agencies to conduct an annual network review. The purpose is to optimize U.S. air monitoring networks to achieve, with limited resources, the best possible scientific value and protection of public and environmental health and welfare.

View the 2012 Annual Monitoring Network Plan Comments on the network are encouraged to help the Department maintain adequate protection of public health and protection of the environment.
