Voter Registration Deadlines for '09 Elections

The deadline to register to vote or to make changes to your voter registration is 25 days prior to the election date. Following are the deadlines for elections that will be held in 2009:

September 15, 2009 - W-S Municipal Election Primary
Deadline: August 21, 2009

October 6, 2009 - Winston-Salem 2nd Primary (if needed)
Deadline: August 21, 2009

November 3, 2009 – Municipal General Election
Deadline: October 9, 2009

All forms must be either hand delivered to our office by 5:00 PM or postmarked by the deadline dates listed above. New registration forms that were faxed to our office must be followed up by an original form by the same deadline date.
