On Tuesday, January 31, 2023, Deputy T. Senter was approached by a citizen who requested assistance with driving to his destination near Bethania from 6th Street and Spring Street in downtown Winston-Salem. The citizen advised his navigation system had stopped working and needed help driving across town. The citizen described Deputy Senter as an outstanding, exceptional individual, and a valuable asset to this agency. The citizen continued by saying Deputy Senter was very hospitable and cordial during their interaction together. The citizen recommended that everyone take Deputy Senter’s lead. Deputy Senter went above and beyond to provide assistance to a citizen who may have become lost while driving alone. Deputy Senter is being recognized as Staff Member of the Month for January due to his compassion, sincerity, characteristics, and leadership. Deputy Senter represented himself and the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in a caring and community oriented way by completing what seemed to be just a simple task to him but was a lifesaving gesture to an anxious citizen.
