Private First Class T. Hamm has been employed with the Forsyth County Sheriffs Office since July 2010. He is currently assigned to Intake, as a Male Intake Officer. Pfc. Hamm is also an active member of the Special Response Team. Pfc. Hamm is extremely thorough in regards to his duties as a Male Intake Officer. He presents himself in a professional manner and remains calm in stressful situations. Pfc. Hamm does an outstanding job conducting thorough and systematic searches of inmates and their personal property.

Pfc. Hamm was conducting a search of an inmate in the lntake sally port area and found a razor blade on an arrestee entering the facility. The arrestee had the razor in his hand. Pfe. Hamm took control of his wrist and seized the razor blade. His thorough searching technique prevented a weapon from being smuggled into the detention center. Pfc. Hamm's diligence prevented contraband from reaching any other incarcerated inmates. The confiscation of the weapon may have prevented injury to other inmates and/or officers working in the facility. Pfc. Hamm was observant, preventing a breakdown in the safety and security of the facility. Congratulations Pfc. Hamm!
